Raila Odinga is Alone in his Handshake with Uhuru Kenyatta
Raila
Odinga decided to unleash a handshake on the people. It is good for him. He can
as well retire as a "honourable peace loving elder" who fought for
justice until certainly "peace" became more important (assuming I do
not know what peace actually is). He abandoned the people on the runway when they
actually needed his leadership the most. It is undisputed that Mr. Odinga's
supporters had become radical (many still are) and Kenya was ripe for a
revolution. Now. Mr. Odinga is on the crossroads. He must choose between
abandoning the handshake and getting back to lead Kenyans (majority who either
voted for him or boycotted the sham election that put in place an illegitimate
despotic regime led by Kenyatta) in the path of democratic reforms, or he clings to the handshake and vanish to political
oblivion. Choosing the former is costly, the latter is an easy choice. Let him decide.
