Now they are Privatizing your Roads
As reported by Business Daily, “Motorists
will pay between Ksh. 1,458 and Ksh. 7,290 to use the Nairobi-Nakuru-Mau Summit
road in toll charges that could make Kenya’s highways among the most expensive
to ride on in the world. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has
recommended that high-capacity vehicles like transit lorries pay Ksh. 30 per
kilometre to use the toll road, while low-capacity vehicles like saloon cars
will pay Ksh. 6 per kilometer on the 243 km stretch.” Dear Kenyans. Uhuru’s
government is now privatizing your roads. And remember you have been
ring-fenced through “enclosure” through Huduma Namba. Before you know it, you
will be taxed for the air you breath in Kenya and you will sadly have too
little to do since you have allowed a criminalized state to get away with way
too much for way too long.
