Why Humanity is not yet off the Hook of Genocides
The use of words like ‘infestation’
e.g. in reference to the Jews in Europe and the discourse of dehumanization
e.g. referring to the Tutsi in Rwanda as cockroaches, have histrionically led
to acts that shocked the conscience of humanity. When you have a President in
the US who effortlessly uses phrases such as “Baltimore is infested with mice
and rats” and then you have millions of people cheering him on, then you know,
for a fact, that the world is not yet off the hook of genocides and holocausts.
It is as simple as that. Because if and when these people will ever get an
opportunity, nothing stops them (because they already have the genocide
mentality and leaders who mobilize them) from clearing the mess. You know,
dealing with the infestations and/or sweeping mice and rats out.
